The meteorite crater called Nvrdlinger Ries is situeted in southern germany. The 
town Nvrdlingen lies near the center of the crater. 
Diamater 24 km, age 15 Ma
Nearby is the crater Steinheim Basin which was formed together with the Ries.
Diameter 3.4 km
