(meteorobs) -6 Lyrid Photographed GeoZay

Well, in one of my brief summaries during my 3 night Lyrid meteor shower
campaign, I mentioned that I saw a -6 Lyrid and may have photographed it.
Well, I just developed two rolls of film that covered most of the 3 nights
and discovered that indeed I did captured the -6 lyrid on one of my guided
cameras. It wasn't the camera that was equipped with a rotating shutter, but
the other guided camera with a 28mm f/2.8 lens. It looks quite nice actually.
I got nearly all of it. The best parts anyhow. I got all the beginning and it
traveled a good distance before it fragmented. On the negative it looks like a
nice "flare" area. Then it continued for another good distance and was nearly
faded when it crossed out of the negative. I quickly looked for any other
meteors on the negatives but didn't see any real obvious one's. There might be
some very, very short meteors that I might have caught but will have to give
the negatives a real good looksy when they dry with a magnifying glass. I
still have about 6 or 7 frames from two camera's that needs to be developed
from other rolls. I was forced to change film in the middle of the night. I
had less frames left in the camera's than I thought I had.
