I doubt if anyone with experience with meteor photography could confure an iridium flare with a meteor. The fireball network has recorded probably close to 50 Iridium flares, and their intensity profile is very smooth and symetrical, very unlike a meteor which is usually brighter at the end and unlikely to be symetrical.
