(meteorobs) June 19/20 observation

Hello all,

I finally got some CLEAR SKIES last night after the weather system that
affected most of the east coast started to break up and lose strenght.
I went to my dark sky site south of Ottawa, taking a chance despite the
variable clouds still posing a threat. Around midnight, as I arrived,
the clouds moved away. Good work Wayne. I observed a total 24 meteors
under a 6.5 limiting mag. sky. Of those, 23 sporadics and 1 SAG. I saw 5
very swift, trained meteors coming from a point low in the east in the
early morning. The point they seem to come is close to the Tau Cetids
radiant (about 01:36 -12). One other meteor is a possible Tau Aquarid,
again very fast. I called these SPO for now.

I will go out again tonight. I'll plot more of these swift meteors if
they appear. Brightest meteor was a mag. 0 that moved swiftly leaving
a 2 second train.
