(meteorobs) Observation July 4/5 1998

Hello,

Seeing the skies clearing nicely on July 4/5, I decided to take
advantage of the very last "window" between moonset and dawn.
This gave me 1 hour of reasonable skies from my backyard.
It was a pleasant night as I went out only in T-shirt.
Meteor activity was slowww...only 4 average sporadics to report.
It was quite in contrast with the 12 sporadics seen under
better skies at my site south of Ottawa (July 2/3).
Now, I'm done observing at least until mid-July !

1998 TOTALS (so far including this observation):

Total hours teff
(actual time I spent looking at the sky): 62.07 hours
Total meteors seen: 435
Number of nights out: 23
