Re: (meteorobs) Greenland Meteorite Found?
A search party leaves Copenhagen on July 22nd. A preliminary expedition
visited the impact zone a few weeks ago, to find a good place for base camp
and to take snow samples. These samples contained particles of meteoritic
origin - glass globules etc, but I don't think it has been established
whether these particles stem from the Dec. 9th meteor. No fragments was
found nor searched for.
