(meteorobs) Best time for Perseids

I've been following this group for a while, I was wondering if the best
time for the Perseids is after midnight-sunrise Seattle time.

I've heard conflicting reports on the best observation time, and am
planning a small observing "party" tonight.  So far, it's set for midnight
as a starting time.

Any last minute bits of advise would be helpful.  I know the moon affects
this years show, but I'm looking for the best time to watch.
