That's a neat site I hadn't seen before, Dale - thanks!

Another one I use, George, is the USGS site at:
    http://www-nmd.usgsdot gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html

This gives lat/lon to the second, and elevations. It's a little flaky in terms 
of how it lets you pick a PRECISE position - for instance, you can choose a 
mountain, but it will only give the coordinates for the peak, unless there are 
other named features on the mountainside.
