Well, anyone have access to any of these? *Especially*
the Astronomy & Astrophysics article entitled "Geminid
meteoroids traced to cometary activity on Phaethon", or
the PhD thesis "SEARCH FOR REMNANT COMETARY ACTIVITY IN
NEAR-EARTH PLANETESIMALS"! :)
Clear skies!

I get 29 abstracts for asteroid 3200 Phaethon (note the second "h").
Haven't had a chance to see if there's any more information in these
articles. Most look like astrometrics associating it with the Geminids.
Sorry for the horrible formatting, I'm in a rush to get out the
door! (Did a quickie NSF proposal yesterday, getting a book out to
the publishers today, then I *hope* spending the next couple of months
actually [gasp] doing science!)
FYI, I'm next at the Jordan planetarium in Bangor, Sept. 14th.
