(meteorobs) (meterobs) Aurigid Observations on 9/2/98--MarkM
Last night I observed from 06:40 UT to 08:40 UT and observed a total of 18
Alpha Aurigids and 7 Sporadics. It was a beautiful evening to observe after
the moon finally set. Cool and bug free. I got washed out by high cirrus
around 08:40 UT and had to stop for the night. The brightest of the
Aurigids was approx. 1.5 mag and left a neat 2 sec light orange-blue
colored train. Can't wait for the Orionids!
