Hello,

I was referred here by George Zay. I'm new at this and am mostly interested in
finding out more about a fireball I saw, which was quite dramatic.

My daughter and I saw it while driving north on the freeway thru San Francisco
at about 9:45 PM Pacific Time on 8/4. It was bright orange with a white tail
and, including the tail, appeared to be about the size of a large pencil held
at arm's length. It was traveling in a horizontal arc towards the West about
10-20 deg above the horizon and lasted about one second.

Does anyone else have info in this?
