(meteorobs) August 19/20 1998 observation

On the 19/20, I headed out to my Casselman site to again observe almost
5 hours (4.74 teff). It was an awesome night with my limiting magnitude
reaching 6.6. It was a dry, but very cool night. It was certainly very
enjoyable. Meteor activity seemed to be doing better this night with
a total of 81 seen. Most of these were sporadics. Also good rates from
the late Perseids. Perseids jumped the last hour before dawn as 9 of
them were seen. Another surprise was the 3 late South Delta Aquarids,
all seen within one hour's time. Other low activity was present
from the North Delta Aquarids, North Iota Aquarids, Pi Eridanids,
and Kappa Cygnids. The KCG again were disappointing with only 1 seen.
The majority of my meteors were of magnitude +4, but a few brighter
ones were seen. Two were Perseids of magnitude -1, both leaving one
second trains, and another sporadic of -1.
