That sounds like it WOULD be a thrill, Bob! Has anyone else ever seen this?

One thing for newcomers to keep in mind - a few hours of meteor observing each 
month (or any other kind of naked eye viewing) make it a WHOLE LOT more likely 
for you to see wonders like this... Someone doing deep-sky or planetary would 
almost certainly be staring in an eyepiece through such a happening.
