(meteorobs) Meteor Showers in September?

Thanks for writing back, Blythe! This month, very little is going on. But there
are ALWAYS meteors to be seen - and almost always some "minor showers" to be
studied! After all, these are the ones that receive the least attention from
observers. This month's "weak ones" include the Southern Piscids (peaking this
weekend, but don't expect more than a couple per hour) and the Delta Aurigids
(already peaked, but you may still see a few after midnight).

So obviously, if you're looking for a show, wait till October! But if you'd
like to take a quiet night to just enjoy the beauty of the naked-eye sky, learn
some more about the stars and meteor watching, and get a little "practice" in
before the Big Autumn Showers, then September is a PERFECT MONTH...

Clear skies, and take care!
