This website provides lots of scientific background information and you will find information
on the Leonid '98 Airborne Mission too.
This site is maintained by Peter Jenniskens of NASA-AMES.

Another, related, website with lots of info on the Leonids and a groundbased expedition to
China is:

http://home.wxsdot nl/~dms-web/

This site is maintained by the Dutch Meteor Society (DMS).

Good luck with the Giacobinids (Draconids) and Leonids!

Casper.
