Subject: Draconids :^(
If you want to repost this to meteorobs, be my guest
i went out to the observatory just before 0-UT and started taking pictures
with my camera piggybacked on my telescope. I set it so I would have the
northern part of Cygnus in the frame. I was taking one image every 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, I only saw one Draconid during the hour I spent watching, and
it passed about 25* south of where I was imaging, heading due south.
During this time, my limiting mag was about 5 at zenith.
I did not even see any sporadics during my observations and all in all, I
was very disappointed in the "performance".
I'm not sure if I got any meteors on film, but I did get at least one
airplane on every frame. :^(

a telescope and how to find objects in the sky.
You don't do that by going to a bar and drinking beer"
