(meteorobs) size of meteorites

You are right for the size.Meteorites are dust coming from comets and their
size is as big as sand.
Sometimes bigger pieces fall on Earth (up to several tons) They are call
bolids.One of these bolids
has fallen on Greenland at south of the city of Nuuk,on December 9th,
1997dot it's initial mass is
estimated at about 2 tons.I hope I don't put the war in family!
