(meteorobs) Radio Leonids-No.America

Nov. 17       18 - 23 h Universal Time (UT), most likely around 19.7h UT =
11.7 h PST

Looking at my planisphere, the Leonid radiant will still be above the
horizon on the west coast of North America for some part of the predicted
peak, even though it's daylight there. And it looks to be high enough to be
in fair forward scatter radio range.  Have the California radio meteor
observers checked out possibilities of radio observing?


And isn't there an AMS radiometer project in Hawaii these days?
