(meteorobs) huge fireball
hi every one.
I would like to report a fireball.
my sister Amal Ttell and her husband Ghazi Mesmar have witnessed what can be
called a fire ball.
I my self did not see it but I have asked them many questions so as to be
sure of the data and description.
following is the information regarding the fireball :
date : 11/10/1998.
time : 2.30 ut
location : Amman
longitude
latitude
description :
mag : ~(-10) - (-13) ( was brighter like the moon ).
colour : white - blue
fragmentation : unsure
apparent size : ~ half of the apparent size of the moon.
train : yes ( white and blue train )
duration of the fireball : around 2 sec.
velocity : fast ( Imo code = 4 )
sounds : unsure
starting point : somewhere near cephus
end point : the western horizon.
