   We went to the dark skies of Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, West
Virginia this past weekend to attend the annual astronomy convention held
there. It is a beautiful area with lots of trails and nature. There were      
talks during the day and observing at night. On both Saturday and Sunday
morning I was able to pull myself away from the telesccope eyepiece to do
some (shallow sky) meteor observing. Below is a rough breakdown:
