(meteorobs) Re: Activity 10/17 to 11/10



Joy,

As George was saying (in his own special way) the moon will be a major
nuisance during this period. During the last days of October you may be 
able to see some Taurid activity from an area just west of the Pleiades
(the 7 sisters). I look toward the south and would try to watch after 
the moon has set which would be during the morning hours. 

As November arrives the moon will be in the sky most of the night and 
the activity will be few and far between. As the second week of 
November arrives the moon will not rise until later in the evening. 
Activity is still scarce during these hours with perhaps 2 or 3 meteors
been visible per hour at best.
