The average Orionid meteor magnitude that I gave was for all 85 Orionds
seen on both the 23/24 and 24/25. When I do the same hours (4:40 to 6:40 UT)
for both nights, which is virtually the same radiant altitude, it shows a
magnitude decrease as Bob Lunsford suggested.
October 23/24, 1998 4:40 to 6;40 UT LM=6.35 average Orionid 2.6 magn.
24/25, 1998 4:40 to 6:40 UT LM=6.50 average Orionid 2.9 magn.
