(meteorobs) Just a question

Hi there!!

This may not be the place to ask this question, but I thought I could
get an answer on the meteor part, and it could be hooky, bu here
goes.......

Since there is so much discussion going on about a possible sound
from space being heard ( in EQ Pegesi) , I just have a small question
on if the radio telescopes are so senstive and can pick up man made
sound, could these scopes also pick up sounds from incoming meteors?
Since we can pick up radio signals on fm bands, and their frequencies
are different, could they not pick up noise from the meteors from
space?

If so, I suppose they filter these out on the dish, but just curious.

I had an opprotunity in October along with our Youth Group to speak
to Dr.Jill Tartar from Australia via conference call. The call was
for 30 mins, and I had asked a couple of technical questions, where
their 2nd radio dish was for verification, and what range they listen
to. It was an interesting talk, and I hope that the children had fun.
