I will be signing off the list for about nine days to travel to Hawaii
with my wife Lynne to observe the Leonids from near Mauna Keya. We will be
leaving from BWI airport tomorrow, fly to California to visit Lynne's mom
and some friends, and visit Lick Observatory before departing for Hawaii
and the end of the week. In Hawaii we will meet up with some members of the
Bishop Museum and Hawaiian Astronomical Society and travel to the Big Island
to observe the Leonid max. Good luck to all observers on the list and Aloha.
