Observing N.Taurid shower when I observed a bright N. Taurid fireball of
atleast -4 mag. Very beautiful!! Color changed from green to violet near
end of its path. Left a persistent and distorted smoke train lasting 8-10
secs which was spiral/helical in shape. Ended about 20 deg. above the
northern horizon at an azimuth of nearly 0 deg. Reported to NAMN via online
fireball report form.

Also noting auroral activity along the northern horizon in central Iowa at
this time!
