(meteorobs) observations from Utah

While driving to work this morning, at around 5:00am, I saw a couple
of bright meteors with long trails, so once I got near my work, I
found a little deserted stretch of county road and sat on my car and
watched for a while. I wasn't sure where Leo was (I'm a novice), but
it didn't take long to figure it out once I started to catch sight of
some meteors. I observed for around 45 minutes and saw 11 meteors (in
addition to the two I saw while driving), and that's in a heavily
light polluted area between Utah's two most populated areas. Tonight
I'm heading south, away from the light and the incoming cloud cover.
These seem like pretty promising rates, so I'm really excited about
tomorrow morning.
