(meteorobs) LOTSA RADIO BURSTS 11/16 1200-1245Z



Between about 1200Z and 1245Z, all heck broke loose on the 144 MHz ham band
as meteors began providing strong reflections lasting up to one minute
long. So far, most reports of the slurry of rocks appear to be coming from
the east coast USA but some reflections were also reported in extreme
southern Alberta province, Canada and into the northern US midwest as far
south as northern Texas & Arkansas. As of 1315Z, the number of bursts has
subsided considerably with only a few short but still very strong bursts
and pings occurring perhaps every minute or so.
