HI! i live in Queens, New York, almost as west on the island as you can
get.  I woke up 3 times last night, 3 AM EST being my last try and the
skies were pretty much clouded over, with a few small breaks.  However, the
street lights and city lights (I live in the first neighborhood in Queens
coming from Manhattan) were reflecting off the clouds making it almost as
bright as day, with no stars visible. I, therefore, was unlucky last night
(11/17-11/18).
I was just wondering whether you usually observe from your backyard or
whether you have discovered a place nearby where you can do some observing
that you wouldn't mind sharing.
