Lew, I suppose that you meant naked-eye with glasses when necessary? I
found that I see stars more 'clear' with glasses - they start to appear
'pointlike' when I put on glasses, and I guess that there could at least
be 0.5 to 1 magnitude difference for my case with glasses. So I always
use glasses when I make meteor observations, and my LM estimations are
made with glasses on. It's the lowest degree glasses (100 degrees for both)
and the cheapest one I found in a glasses shop (about $3.5)... and I only
use it while observe meteors.
