Now, I'm having a problem with the findings published in the article.  Are 
the researchers telling us that if we observe two meteors in side-by-side 
flight, one mag. 4, the other mag. -4, falling from the zenith to the 
horizon, the brighter one will >appear< to reach the horizon first, that 
its perceived speed will be about 33 percent faster than the fainter one? 
  We could be talking of a difference in times of arrival at the horizon of 
0.5 seconds or more.

We can hope for a Leonid storm next November, then we will check this out 
in the great laboratory out-of-doors!
