(meteorobs) Some news & updates!
Hi!
Some news:
As a member of the Israeli Astronomical Association, I
can sign up to a few sections on particular sections.
I signed up the NEO section (Near Earth Objects.
searching etc.), Meteor Observing (collecting a
database and doing observing sessions), and another
section about small objects in the Solar system and
their study (Photomtery & astrometry of Asteroids,
Comets, etc.).
My brother and a friend of mine got a nice
introduction to the sky yesterday night. We say a
satellite, and we looked through my binos (only 9x20)
at Mizar & Alcor. I can see them both with my eyes!
Anyone else? :-)
This wednesday I'm going to the second level of an
Astronomy competition. I have much better chances than
last contest. Wish me luck! If I win, I get to fly to
London, and meet many nerds. Hurraaaaaay!
