(meteorobs) Observation June 15/16 1999



On the second night for June 15/16, I observed at Casselman under far
better conditions. The night had cooled down dramaticaly to a low of about
6C, and skies were crystal clear and beautiful. LM was 6.35, and remained
consistent during the entire session. I was facing south-east, and 12
meteors were plotted during the last 2 hours before morning twilight. Only
one Sagittarid appeared and it aligned perfectly with the IMO radiant. Once
again, I watched for possible XDR and JLY. The plots indicate one possible
JLY, one possible XDR and two other meteors aligned with both radiants. So,
a total of 4 suspect meteors for that night. They were medium or
medium-fast speed. No meteor got brighter than magn +2. No highlights were
seen.
