(meteorobs) Lightning and meteors (was Re: Very unusual meteor???)
Sounds like a neat sighting, Peter! I've done a few meteor observing sessions
with thunderstorms going on... It can be mighty fun (more lights for the show!),
but also mighty exasperating too if the lightning keeps messing up your night
vision! I recall one night during my Leonid campaign in the Florida Keys last
year, observing with one line of thunderstorms North of me, and another (much
bigger) line of T-storms to the South, duking it out much of the night!
