One other point with 1799 and 1832 worth noting is that the Kazan
astronomers note that there were MULTIPLE encounters with dust trails in
these years.  This is due to the convergence of the dust trails onto the
comet from in front and behind.  The resonant "filaments" are a bit more
complex, as these fold back on themselves near the resonance boundary and
can be spread away from the zone of the uniform dust trails.  The straight
dust trails are pretty easy to visualise, but the resonant dust trails
will all have to be calculated in detail to determine the overall extent
of the zone (laterally to the comet's orbit) that they cover.
