    I'm not sure if this is the reference your looking for but see S&T June
1973, p.392, paper, Building a Recorder for Sudden Enhancement of
Atmospherics.  Also see, S&T  May 1972, p.327.  This solar flare system is
tuned to 27 khz.  I'm not sure if this would be useful for anomolous sound
detection of fireballs as if I recall correctly the frequency for meteors is
lower than that.  Any comments?
