I can easily believe that having longer hair may aid in VLF radiation 
detection....or at least the sounds from static electricity. Just sasha 
around over a carpet on a Santa Ana day and watch your hair stand on end. 
Sure seems like you're ready to tune in on anything or at least be prepared 
to receive a hefty shock when you come into contact with a door knob.
