of the Perseid radiant in particular was a real surprise to
me: obviously, this is a VERY well-studied stream, so radiant
spread is clearly due to a wide diversity of orbital elements
among the stream particles themselves as opposed to errors or
uncertainties in measurement.
So why DO the PERs have such spread in orbital elements??
