Experiance isn't everything. Ability and performance are also important.
You can play baseball every day, but never make the Major Leagues. Likewise
playing a musical instrument, or doing any mental or physical task.
Starting young may also be important in meteor observing, as it is in sports,
music, and many other tasks that require mental and physical coordination
and development.
