(meteorobs) Cyclical Filaments

Steve and all,

Speaking of cyclical filaments, I feel that the Earth encounters
numerous cyclical filaments during each Perseid maximum and this
accounts for the perception that the Perseids come in bunches. I know
that there have been numerous studies where it has been determined that
random distribution can account for this behavior. The universal field
experience has also shown that every year there have been numerous
surges and sudden drops in activity which could easily be explained by
the Earth passing into and out of cyclical filaments.

Just thinking out loud here!
