Re: (meteorobs) Re:bolide



So far, this ones got my vote.

Thanks, Michael, for linking bolides with "associated meteorite falls".

Since it has yet to be shown that any meteorite (larger than a
micrometeorite) has come from a comet, it is useful to have a separate
term for fireballs borne from astroidal debris, versus cometary dust.
