I added a topic, since someone complained earlier about messages without a topic.
I think that the Tunguska bolide (which I think you are talking about) would qualify as a superbolide.
I'm not sure who defined a superbolide, all I can remember is that it should be -17 mag or brighter.
But sure - it would qualify as one heck of a bolide :)

I suppose the big meteor in Siberia cira 1908 would qualify as a bolide.
People in the area heard it and it is supposed to have exploded above
ground.
