Re: (meteorobs) MIR and pings?



    What I heard on the news is that they plan to re-enter it into the
atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean, so it is unlikely to 'ping' within range
of most of us.

    On the question of pinging, I believe that it should leave a long trail
of ionized gas and would 'ping' very well.
