Luis,

I'm sure others, in addition to myself, appreciate your efforts and work in
making these lists.

But... it really would be better for you to not include the lists as an
attachment, even though they are apparently simple text files. Attachments
of any kind are generally not allowed on reflector e-mail lists, partly
because some list subscribers, such as Juno users, cannot download
attachments of any kind, and partly because attachments can cause other
problems at servers. For example, one attachment is essentially the
equivalent of another entire e-mail posting, which means an attachment
effectively doubles the number of times a server must send out a post.
Then, too, some types of attachments have been known to be carriers of
computer viruses, such as the recent problems with Happy99.EXE and Melissa.

The best thing for you to do (assuming the list is too long to include
within an ordinary posting), rather than automatically sending out an
attachment, is to post a message advising that you have the attachment
available and will send it to anyone requesting it. Or, if you have a web
page, you can state where others can download the file from your page.

Also, please list something in the SUBJECT line of your e-mails, because
many of us, to preclude receiving spam, have e-mail filters set that depend
upon certain words or characters in the SUBJECT line.

Keep up the good work! Clear skies,
