Hello,


     I was wondering if anyone noticed the very bright fast meteor which
occurred at 2:30AM Eastern time in New Jersey early Friday Morning 9/24/99.
The direction was to the East at about 35 degrees above the horizon. This
meteor was not a fireball, but it had a very thick, bright and lasting
trail, even under the almost full moon. I have seen several meteor trails
over the years and this one I will remember.
