(meteorobs) Dragon mute in South Georgia

I just finished a 4 hr+ session, beginning quite early in order to
observe both sides of the GIA 3:00UT peak. Under variably hazy, cloudy
skies with LM's ranging from 6.2 to 4.5 or worse, I saw only one prime
GIA candidate. It was a +2 near-pointer just a few degrees from the
radiant, at around 0:30UT, the first meteor of the evening. And that
was it. I was treated to a -3 sporadic with a bright-greenish train
during the third period.
I had my back turned to the ecliptic tonight in order to keep one
eye on the Draco radiant (I faced north). With the thick haze low in
the southwest, I could identify few if any of the meteors I saw. All
but the GIA will have to be labeled SPO.
I'll post a full report later. Sleep beckons.
