Re[2]: (meteorobs) Re: Giacobinids enhanced activity was definitely observed in Japan.
Hello two Kim,
I confuse two Kim for a moment because below mail seems to be a
self-reply mail at first.
I have to tell you about the Cetids in detail. The Cetids consist of
two showers. one is Xi Cetids, and another is Gamma Cetids. gamma
Cetids is also a one of minor shower. The duration of this shower
extends from October 15 to 25. The peak seems to occur on October 20
>from a radiant of RA=41, Dec=+5. The maximum is about HR=5. The meteor
is slow. This shower was observed by Hiroshi Yamamoto on October 16 to
22, 1965 for the first time and the peak was about HR=10. I may think
that this shower corresponds to Southern Arietids (wright and Wipple,
1950). The other hand, I suspect that the outburst was observed by
M.Whicom?? on October 19, 1935 in America(HR=100 ,radiant : RA=40,
Dec=-5.)
