Re: (meteorobs) Leonid Meteors in the Classroom!

Dear Lew and Karen,
Thank you for this fine information. I will incorporate it with the High School project
out of Japan. Already I have over 35 students on our project team at Nelson County High
School. The cool, clear and light pollution-free mountain skies (we are on the eastern range of
the Appalachians in Central Virginia) does lend itself nicely to meteor observing! Our plan is to
observe on the morning of the 16th, the morning of the 17th, and the evening of the 17th/morning of the 18th.
We are very much looking forward to this possible (not probable) once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Sure hope that
you and all our meteor observing collegues have a most wonderful weekend!!!
