(meteorobs) Late October Observations

I decided to struggle through the low rates of early evening and observe wednesday and thursday nights before the moon rose.  Rates were indeed quite low.

I should preface the report for October 27/28, by stating that due to a tree that obscured my eastern horizon, I was not well situated to observe either orionids or taurids, but I did manage to situate myself somewhat better the second (thursday) night.  Regardless, I did not see any potential candidates wednesday night, anyway,  just sporadics (most probably).
