Re: (meteorobs) Meteor Collisions



For a meteoroid to penetrate as low as the cruising height of commercial
aircraft, there would have to be a notable fireball preceeding it.  This
would have been clearly visible to other pilots and have been commented
on.  That it was not, means that the exceptionally small probability of
occurence did *not* happen in this case, or in the TWA crash some years
back.
