(meteorobs) Meteor Summary: Nov 10/11 (DAVMA)

I was able to once again monitor the Taurid, "Linearid" and Leonid activity
this morning from my Sullivan's Island location, this time from the beach
itself in hopes of a mosquito-abating breeze. The breeze, along with the
Linearids, did not materialize.

I observed from 0701-0921 UT (0201-0421 EST) and was forced to end my
session early due to clouds from a weak front that is passing through this
area at the moment. Once again Taurid activity was minimal, with 2 being
seen in Teff=2.33 (both of which were NTAs). No Southern Taurids,
"Linearids" or Leonids were recorded - only 15 sporadics were seen -- the
highlights a -1 and -2 magnitude...no fireballs.

I plan to observe again tonight, will have to skip Friday, but will resume
again on Saturday night.

Clear skies!
